Mr. Blackburn is the Principal Consultant and Owner at BAC Aviation Consultancy since 1993. He has over 30 years of experience working with airlines in Commercial and Financial management.
Mr. Blackburn has developed network management business processes and specifications for IT systems to support airline business processes and management decision-support. His expertise lies in airline strategy development, network planning, flight scheduling, network profitability analysis and performance measurement, as well as market potential forecasting and analysis. He has provided consulting services for major airlines and IT firms in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Africa and China. Key airline clients include Lufthansa German Airlines, Swiss International, Afriqiyah Airways, Shenzhen Airlines and Turkish Airlines. Key IT solution clients include SABRE Airline Solutions, Lufthansa Systems and SAP.
Mr. Blackburn is able to define and understand problems that are encountered by airlines in strategy planning and performance measurement, as well as to develop and deliver solutions that provide effective results.
